Good choice asp., I use Amsoil in all pers and ranch vehicles simply because I can have it delivered to gate. Never any problems...nearly 20k on bike, syn since first change.

I switched to Red Line at 500 miles.
Hmmmm I wonder if I gave the pistons, rings, jugs long enough to break in????

Synthetic is way better than dino and will in no way hurt your bike, it will however help it to run a little cooler and will allow you to go longer between oil changes. The CVO bikes come from HD with it in them so why would they do that if it was going to hurt anything.

Default synthetic or non synthetic

If you want a smoother, cooler , quieter engine go with syn. I use Redline stuff in my '08 UC. Their syn trans oil will make the bike shift far better with less noise. Syn over dino oil is a no brainer. Go to their website: redline.com
