H-D bag lid covers

I’ve had the H-D bag lid covers installed on my ’07 SG for some time. Well, as you may know, it gets hotter that h*ll here in So Kali. The adhesive that comes with the covers to hold the Velcro on is become pliable/gooey and is not holding

So – can someone recommend and industrial type (?) of adhesive that will hold in high temperatures?

I have those as well....fortunately no problems like that! May want to try High-Heat Silicone. Comes in different colors....let it dry overnight.

3M double sided tape that they use to attach moldings, etc to cars. It will be a bitch to remove later on but it will stick good.

I believe you meant "VHB" For $30.60 a roll

It is VHB and it does work very well if applied correctly. make sure you clean the spot with Goo Gone or similar and then isopropyl, let that dry good and apply. You'll have to chisel it off!
