Default Windshield Question

Best way to clean a bug-filled windshield?? Anyone?? When I said best I really meant easiest. Let's go both ways. What's good, what's bad? Thanks. BA

take a towel and soak it wet then lay it on the windshield and let it sit for a bit. Done! bugs come right off

I take mine off- if you can, and lay it dirty side up on a soft towel in the driveway. Then I soak it in Windex and wait several minutes. Then I hose it off. Then I use wipes to get it perfect.

I like to treat it with either Plexus or Novus polish after its perfectly clean. That makes cleaning any bugs that stick to it a non event.

I use microfiber towels. I keep one in a plastic baggy that is very moist, and a dry one. Takes the bugs right off windshield and the paint and chrome too. Ocassionaly I use Plexus plastic cleaner and polish to fill in the tiny scratches on the windshield.

I got some stuff at wally world that was in a squrit bottle and it was bug and tar remover for chrome and paint. Its a foam so it sticks and dont run off, so far it works great. Just spray it on and let it sit a few min. and then I use a micro cloth and they come right off. Works on the windshield and fairing.
Just my 2 cents worth

Bugslide works very well...kind of a pricy bottle, but you don't use much at a time...
