Default stirrups vs. switchblades

i really need something to stretch my legs out with and have been researching attachments to the highway bars, but i can't figure out the difference between stirrups and switchblades or the benefit to either. Can anyone give me some opinions on both (or either)? i really like the idea of resting my heel which both seem to do.

I believe that stirrups are fixed heel reast and switchblades are foldable. Unused, they are folded up and sort of out of the way and then "switched" open when needed. Never used the switched but think the stirrups might be a little sturdier.

My understanding of the surrups is an add on to the folding highway pegs to allow you to have a heel rest. Here is a link to an example picture:

I use the switch blades and really like them..You can position them in a way that allows for you to rest your heals on the boards as well as stritch out..when you need them out of the way the heel rests swing back into the footrest and are out of the way by a kick of the toe. Very nice.

no idea what you're talking about assassin. i was referring to the ones made by kuryakyn.

i'm just wondering what would look best and what is most comfortable. i really like that you can fold the switchblades up out of the way.
