How many miles before anyone notice their bike use or cosumed oil. I have an 07 RKC just out of curiousity after a ride last night I checked the oil level as rescribe in my maintenance manual. I had to add 10 oz. to bing it up to the full line it's been 3,500 mile since my last oil change at 5k. I have Amsoil 20W/50 in it.

 

A 1/3 of a quart in 3500 miles, that's not bad. Mine will use a 1/2 a quart over 5000 mi. I would never fill it to the full mark however, half way between the full and add marks is right, other wise you can blow oil out the air filter.
