My 2009 runs hot and 5th gear is noisy. Should I trade it in for a Goldwing?

Just kidding !!!!!! Man I miss this place !!!!

hey rdam...I road a new 09 street glide today....It IS noisy in 5th gear isnt it!? A customer of ours brought one buy to start some mods on it. I like the new front engine mount design and, new coil location and not to mention that FAT new rear swing arm! I hope you like your ride, its a nice one from what I experienced on my test ride! we are going to be changing the exhaust and few mods to this one....I will be trying some 75-140 GEAR OIL in the trans to see if the gear WHINE quiets down.....Anyway....congrats on your new ride!

I just dumped my '09 Road King because of the high speed wobble. Riding a new Vespa now and no more wobble. This baby kicks ***!

TOOLBOX
I use Redline V-twin transmission oil. Runs quieter than the Amsoil I was running before especially when real hot.
