For you guys who have never needed to use your tool kits, hope your luck continues. Nothing better than riding problem free.
For those of us who ride alot and have on occasional found the need to use their kits, always better to be safer than sorry. When I bought mine, on the day I took delivery I asked about a tool kit, and was promptly given the HD roll up kit. Since then, Ive added a few things here and there, and the roll up got a little bulky. So I looked for something a little better to stow everything in. I found this at Sears. Its 12" x 5" x 2-1/4" and fits flat in the bottom of my FLHRSI bag. I have the HD tire gauge with the braided lead and the two fit nicely at the bottom of the bag and doesnt slide around much. Simple and cheap way to add a couple more tools to the kit.
I allway carry mine, have used it on my bike as well as others I have helped on the way. I have added to mine a multi tool, lok-tite(the kind that is a paste in a push up tube) and zip ties.
