Will more air pressure in the shocks raise the bike? I'm short and, I don't need the bike to stand taller making it more difficult for me to balance it.
Not knowing what your riding I can only make a suggestion.
Have to disagree - stand back while someone ads air it will increase height not a lot but it does. You might consider going with a 1" shorter shock. You can find them all the time on E-Bay
i just bought some air shocks (air bags) from performance suspension while i was in sturgis -- $500 -- and yes their raise and lower the bike. No compressor yet -- its still "in development" but they did hook the shocks up to the stock airline fittings (they did change the lines to high pressure air lines)
with most air shocks, it won't raise the height so much, as reduce the amount of sag that you get when you sit on it. lower pressure will compress more, and therefor seem lower.
+1 on the reduced length air shocks, ala road king custom or street glide. 1 inch shorter, but still a decent ride.
