Yup! My first bike bought in 1962 for $35.00 was a 1937 80" FlatHead bagger.

I learned to ride on my dads flathead 80. Here's my first bagger, a 1973 FLH ElectraGlide, the "Great American Freedom Machine". Bought it new in Geissen Germany for $3288.
This picture was taken in Paderborn, Germany in '73 with some members of the Paderborn Motorsport Club, which is still around and we e-mail back and forth. I'm on the left.

Hadn't ridden in 40 years (first and only previous bike was a then new 1966 Honda Cub with 50cc engine rated at 5 hp, LOL); bought an '04 FLHTPI in Feb. 05; put 50K+ on bike in past 3 years; and had a blast.

First serious street bike was a Honda 750 four, dam that thing would scream.
First Harley went straight to an Ultra. Thought the size and weight would take some getting used to but much to my pleasant surprise this Ultra was so easy to ride and IMO handles great. Wife and I are loving every minute of riding, rain or shine!
