Headed to Indiana and while in PA engine began to run sluggish as if running on one cylinder. At a rest stop now letting it cool down and then check the plugs. It idled but at 780 rpms instead of 980. Hoping it is the plugs. I have a spare set with me. Any other ideas?

Bike was running at 213 degrees but went to 230 when this happened.

 

Also it began popping thru the exhaust. No visable leaks.

 

Another GMR build coughin' up blood!

 

Is it charging? It won't run worth a crap with a dead battery if it's not charging.

 

I was thinking that he wasn't installing his GMR build until this winter. I think David is still running his original engine.

 

It's charging at 14 volts. Front plug had some deposits on it. Rear was good.

This is my 98" engine and not the 124.

I swapped the front plug.

 

It's still a 98" (Nikasil) GMR.

 

runs normal as of now with new plug. Back on the Hwy. No reply from me is good news. Thanks.

 

its your destination. drive as far away from indiana as you can. It will run better the further you get from there.

 

No issues after replacing the bad plug. First time one crapper out on me.
