i agree you should rent both bikes and then decide that the rg is a better bike

I agree with the poster that said ride them both over a weekend. The RG is an awesome bike, but for me the fairing bikes just didn't do it -- the RKC did. I'm a minimalist and like nothing but the windshield in front of me when I'm on a trip, and stripped off for in town cruzin'. IMHO there ain't nothing sexier than a RK puttin' down da Blvd; it's best looking bike Harley makes!

I'm biased, but informed, since I've owned both. Well, not the Road King Classic, but the Road King. If most of your riding is on the highway at speed, get the Glide. If you like putting around, 30-50 mph, on the boulivard ( damn, what happened to the spell checker?), get a RKC. To be honest, I don't like the classic, spoke wheels with a tube in them don't belong on a touring bike and those faux leather bags. Come on, get real. Sissy bike. Just kiddin, not.
