I just run a plastic coated chain through the side rack on the detachable tour pack and then through the wheel.
The detachable accessory locks fall apart real easy, I have broken two so far while using the key to unlock it. The small cylindrical top piece that pops up when you unlock it breaks and falls right off. Its garbage!
