Ok let me try to explain where it is, on top of where the motor and trans bolts together on the left side of the motor, it seaps oil about 4" long, I'll wipe it off and after a ride it's back.
Now I have talked to the dealer about this and the tech said that there were no oil passages in between the tranny and the engine, so where the heck is it coming from, could it possibly be from a dowl pen, the way I look at it it's got to be a leak from somewhere and he's done talking like it can't be fixed and it shows up more because it's the plain colored engine, can't fix it, this is not what I want to here.
Has anybody else had this issue?
Process of illimination. Wipe everything clean, soon as you get back. Starting from Rocker boxes down. Come back every5-10 min and check all the parts you wiped.
Are you talking about the primary chain case? If so, it holds oil, has a ring gasket, and has 7 bolts that are threaded though that are sealed with black RTV. Is it possible to post a pic of the area where it's leaking.
If it is the primary case gasket, it's not a big deal to replace it.

My primary gasket seeps oil at the top for about a 4' area like described above. It's an easy fix but I have found that WD40 cleans the silver motors very well. I just don't feel like taking off my pipe and floorboard to fix it at this time.
The links are posts on another forum and they are multiple pages, and I mean multiple. You may have to register to read them, takes a couple of seconds.
Well from what I can find out it may be several things, it could be the seal between the case not sealing or it could be a sand hole in the case, hope that ain't it.[&:]

You can also check the primary shaft seal! This seal is a piece of Sh%*! I had it replaced on both my Road King and Road Glide! This seal, if leaks, will drip oil from under your Derby cover.
