New guy here! Joined up because of the great info posted on this site, and hopefully this is where I need to post this question.
I see alot of discussion on the Khromewerks 3000505 and the HD pullbacks, I just added to my collection a 2005 Ultra as my 1997 is being replaced. The 97 has the HD pullbacks but I also have a Corbin seat which sets you back another 2" from stock. I like the setup on my 97 but could there be a better bar like the Khromewerks? I would like some input on the HD pullbacks and the Khromewerks with the combination of the Corbin RK or DT seat.
I have an 08 Ultra with a Corbin Classic Solo seat and the Khromewerks bars on mine and absolutely love them. The seat/bars make a great riding position.
I was sold on the 300505 bars by this pictorial from dawg. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/showt...ht=300505+pics
The bars are 2" higher , 2" closer , and 3" wider than stock bars.
The wrist position is much improved and the bar mounted mirrors actually work better with the Khromewerks bars.
I'm really satisfied with them , a worthy addition to my bike for sure.
