I have a sundowner only for when my chick rides with me. The stock SG seat wasn't quite enough for the booty! I personally find the oem sg seat much more comfortable. Sundowner makes me feel like I'm about an inch closer to the bars. My vote is stock SG seat.
socal what is the difference between the deepbucket and the touring seat. by looking on line they both look like a bucket? Reach different? roadking model fit the streetglide? 08 model
The 07 Sundowner is slightly lower and slightly forward of the stock FLHX seat. Its also a bit narrower at the nose, which gives the illusion of it sitting even lower.
I put the new version sundowner(it's the one for roadkings,it has the studs and the v logo pictured in the accessories book). It did move me forward just a tad but it also put me lower which I know because now I can see through the windshield instead of having the top of the shield right in my line of sight.I am 6 ft even.MY wife loves it also
Sundowner's are great seats, but they move you more forward a bit. It's a great seat for short riders. If your looking for a seat that has the same comfort & looks but sits you further back go with the H-D Tallboy seat. I had it on my Dyna FXDC & it felt AWESOME!

Come on SoCal, I wanna know too. I need something comfortable but low cause I'm real short.
