Electronic speedo question
Had my battery positive connection come loose last week, since I tightened it back down I have power to the speedo, needle cycles when I turn it on, light works and when I tried to re calibrate it it went threw the steps, it did them BUT the needle does not work and I am not registering any miles on the odometer. I can only quess that I blew out the sending/pulse unit that mounts on the tranny. Should their be power to that wire if I have the rear on blocks and in gear and it is maybe sencing the tranny pulses? They are about 80.00 and I would like to know it is bad before I buy one. Thanks
