Earlier this year, I went from a '92 DynaGlide Custom (think SuperGlide or LowRider) to an '04 RK Custom. I couldn't (and still can't) get over the difference in slow speed maneuverability, highway stability, and overall riding comfort. I also have the riders backrest and am in TOTAL comfort now.
Now don't get me wrong, the DynaGlide was fun. It felt alot quicker and definitely more "hot rod" 'ish... But yeah, I'm a RK fan for sure now.
Picked up my 09 Road King last night. Rode about 50 miles
last night and man what a great ride.
Did the exact same thing you did Brother! Check out my photo album...gave up that sweet Dyna for my '09 FLHRC. What a ride...what a difference! Loved the Dyna too & had alot of fun on it, but nothing like the Road King Classic! Enjoy!
I liked my SuperGlide, but I soon forgot about it after 2 weeks on my 92 FLHS. I do have the wife's 92 Sportster I can ride if I need to get the 'old school' fix.
