Saw a Pewter Pearl SG at the dealer tonight in the work area.

Maybe it looks good in the sunlight but in a dimly lit service area, it really didn't appeal to me.

No bike for me yet, still the Sept. 10th delivery date but I picked up the '09 touring service manual today to read until the bike gets here.

Saw one and the owner came up to me and talked the other day at the local watering hole. I thought it was a pretty color but I am half colored blind anyway. The rear fender and larger back tire looked sweet IMO!

Sept 10 is my birthday and my projected delivery date, too. I got the VIN today (the bike was built this past week), and the bank is sending a check to Overseas Military Car Sales today. They are supposed to do a "hot drop" delivery to get it to my local dealer, Pensacola Harley-Davidson, in time for my birthday. I won't even be back to the world until next week sometime, but I'm chomping at the bit.

That Pewter is awesome. Black is fast though, fast in collecting the dust down 1/4 mile of dirt road to my house. This is my last black bike, till I get pavement to the garage.
