Bleeding brakes or changing fluid
When I installed a new braided front brake line, I found out how difficult it is to get all the air out of the calipers. I heard about the speed bleeders and decided to try them. FYI, I am a retired mechanic so I know how to bleed brakes. It is just a PITA to do by yourself without a pressure bleeder. From my research, these bleeders seemed like a god investment.
REVIEW - These things ARE GREAT. I installed them, hooked up the hose and bleeder bag, loosened the bleeder, and squeezed the brake until air bubbles quit coming out. Tightened the bleeder and repeat on the other side. THAT"S IT! NO MESS AT ALL!
The built in check valve makes opening and closing the valve a thing of the past.
If you want a simple way to bleed your brakes or change the brake fluid (should be done every couple years), get these. Here is a link:

We've used them for quite a while and as you say, brake bleeding becomes a one man job.It is easy enough where the guys no longer hide when you tell them there is a job coming that involves brake bleeding.
