Default fairing soundproofing

here is an idea i had to increase the bass in my 06 amp and speaker setup. i got this r blox from ebay for 38$ for 10 sq. ft. thats enough to do 2 bikes! so split it with a bud and see what a difference it makes.

as a side note this stuff is super sticky. use brown paper bag and make a template for the fairing and cut it with the backing on . if you can get a bud to hold it up while you place it it would be much easier. the rblox comes with a small roller to roll out any air bubbles. my local audio store wanted 40$ for 4 sq. ft.

Looks good blue. Did you do both inner & outer fairing? I was thinking about doing some Dynamat Extreme on just the outer.

just did the inside of the outer fairing. to much stuff attached to the inner fairing to even attempt it.

I gotcha that's what I was thinking too is outer only. That rblox seems more economical off ebay than what I can get the Dynamat for. I'll have to look at that. Thanks blue!

Any concern on the insulating properties? I kinda want my fairing to breathe with all the electronic equipment in there. Thoughts?

I keyed in r blox on ebay, and didn't get a hit. Is there another name for it?
