rubber cover (boot ) part# 67880-94
switch odometer reset part# 67854-98
i would do this today but my shop is closed for the hoilday! guess ill try to start tommorrow
the current is the battery on the circut board. 2032 watch battery. my remote in my car is 3 yrs old still same battery! put the board in the fairing and the button in the center dash on the tank. just need to see were the wires are soldered on the circut board
It'll depend on what type of opener you have. Take a wire loop and connect the contacts on either side of the switch to find out which ones activate the door.
Sorry I don't have a pic mine is all closed and installed. I try to help you any way.
Split the case open. Look for the mico switch that is activeated by the open button. It should be bigger than the one that may just turn on the lights. look at this switch and see how it is attached to the cucuit board. I had to flip mine over and trace the cucurit. after finding which two post you need soder a #18 guage wire to each side of the switch. Give your self about six inches of wire on each side.
Connect the wires to the switch you want to work the remote( I used the HD re-set and rubber boot) putthe case back together (Remember to make a hole in the side of the case for the wires ) Test the unit before you go drilling holes in your fairing. If all works well than locate the unit when you feel safe with it. and you are done. Test after installation.
Thats how I did mine. gross cost....$12.00
