I like the speaker cover idea though, he's on to something with that. Especially after market, water resistant speakers but no such thing as water "proof" speakers.
OMG, next thing you will see is him covering up the tires when parked so the UV rays dont deteriorate the rubber.
I just hose it down and wash, just got back from a 9 day trip, 7 days of it riding in torrential rain for hours on end. Much more exposure to water on the trip than it ever would see by washing.
Just hose it down, wash, rinse and dry - then go riding ! The bikes are made for riding and withstanding the elements.
BTW, dont forget to change the summer air in the tires to winter air...LMAO.
