anything is technically possible with enough time and money. I would think the hardest part would be to find a tank that would be safe to ride with, and in the end you might end up giving up a large part of your baggage space.

We played with LP on some of our work trucks back when they had carbs and no computer and they ran great. The first truck that came out with EFI and computer they sucked. We had to put in two more EFI computers in order to lie the the first one in order to get it to run at all. Big loss of power and fuel mileage went to hell. LP has got a higher BTU rating than natural gas. So I know NG would realy suck.

The first work truck they gave me that ran on LP. The boss asked me how I liked it. I told him GREAT ! I had hooked up a hose to truck so I could run my gas grill off of it, and was changing my furnace over to run off of LP. He didn't see the humor.
