Default Table Lift

My bro just picked this lift up so when I get back to the States, no more achin' back! Here come all those "projects" from the deep recess's (?) in my head! It's an Atlas 1500lb, air, 43" lift ht., wide enough for ATV's & trikes, drop out panel & extention for Long bikes. That S&S 124" Chopped Trike that's been in my head for years is getting closer! I gotta ask, does it get any better? Talk about a kid at Xmas!

I have a table lift, and let me tell you, I couldn't live without it. It makes everything so much eaiser (cleaning, service). I use mine to service the bike, lawn mowers, and as a work bench.

Congrats. There is no substitute for a table lift.

I'm pretty jealous right now. My brother has a nice air lift and it is pretty handy.

Had a 'floor' lift prior to this and although it certainly did the job, it was kind of a pain dragging it out and scooting it around stuff, especially when you're feeling tired (or lazy!). I could always find an excuse to "do it later"! No more squirming around on the floor trying to get at stuff; I'm actually looking forward to wrenching again and in all honesty, I mean I've always taken care of my rides, but for the most part was less than enthusiastic about it. A table and an airconditioned garage, man, I must've died and went to heaven!

I am planning on buying a brand new Handy B.O.B. 1500 before the Winter, but that lift in your pic looks kick a$$. How much did it cost?
PS: That has to be the #1 CLEANEST garage I have seen in a long long time......please tell me that its brand new, otherwise I will be ashamed of myself!

I believe all in, it was just about a grand (no delivery/freight, he picked it up) with all the extensions and options. That's a detached garage with a kind of studio apt on it built about 2 years ago. My Bro's a retired NYFD so has that whole 'neatness' thing working for him; me, I'm a kind of low level of chaos type but learned to always respect the house I'm in so the clean shop philosophy is infectious! and that's a good thing! A couple more air tools and we're set.

I'd really like to purchase the S.A.M. 1000 Handy lift in Red and Black. I see they ship out of either Oregon or Iowa. I live in California. Does anyone know about what shipping would run me. Anywhere cheaper to buy then direct? Thx, Rich

I worked on a 'best-way' lift for years and I guess just got used to it... my boss moved me to a different spot in the shop with a table lift and I couldn't work half as fast.
He quickly had another best-way installed for me. I wouldn't have it any other way.
