I am planning on getting the "HOGTUNES ULTRASOUND COMPLETE REAR SPEAKER KIT" and have heard that the fade feature on the radio does not work unless you have the dealer change the settings, is this true?
I know with this kit you can set the rear speakers to one of three volume settings but the fade would be nice to have.
I had Hog Tunes in my fairing and blew them out in a couple of weeks. They just couldn't handle the power . I like "real speakers" and bump my sounds at high volume levels. Hog tune speakers are for playing your sounds in the garage. Nice and quiet. LOL !!!!!

Perhaps when you upgraded your system you should have bought the appropriate speakers to match the systems output, just say'n.
I have the stock Harman Kardon system and don't plan on replacing it any time soon, it works for me. I just want to add rear speakers and the Hogtunes set up is looking like the easiest way to do it. I have also read quite a few reviews from people that are very happy with them.

Im not 100 percent sure, but I don't think the fade will work at all with Hogtunes Ultrasound, no matter what you do. You would have to install the HD rear speakers to get the fader function.

I have the Hogtunes Ultrasound system on my RG. The front speakers run off the Hogtunes amp. The rear speakers run off the stock radio. So there is no way that you can fade the output front to back. This is just my educated opinion. If I'm wrong, let me know. I'd like to have fade too. LOL
