As long as its not pinging under load your fine. I am running one heat range cooler on the plugs in my 03' SE Deuce because they were looking a bit too light in color. Now they look a perfect light tan, and the bike runs fine. It dont ping at all even on regular fuel <90 octane.

I think there's a lot of good advice in this post.

or you go overboard... for around $600-800 get a couple wide band sensors and A/F ratio meters and monitor the A/F ratio as you ride it.

A dyno run and a look at the AFR curve afterward are pretty good tools to analyze this type of thing. A local crotch rocket shop here will dyno a bike for $50. That would at least provide some peace of mind.

To answer your question as best I can. The HD dealer download is EPA compliant, which means it will be on the lean side, but no leaner then when HD shipped your bike to the dealer. It should be fine.
