hitone, What did you find that caused the helmet buffeting? I just started having that with mine after 20k miles without any. I do fine with no helmet but buffeting with the same helmet I have had all along.
I think I am going to start wearing ear plugs, I just don't know what type to use yet. Sure I can use the foam or the accordian style mentioned with the cord but on another thread someone mentioned buying the form fitting custom molded type and they said they purchased them at Wal-Mart. I have not been able to find those at our Wal-Mart.
The custom molded ones are supposed to be more comfortable. The decibal range must be pretty high from the wind at 75 mph. Especially the cumulative effect from long trips.
