Well almost 65K miles on my 2003 FLHTI and its been great! I did some searching on the forum and was curious if anyone as any results from curing their noisy drive belt? I'm going to purchase some dry silicone spray by Krylon as recommended by the site tech. Has anyone had success with this cure? I put my bike on the lift today and I can see the belt track to one side or the other based on wheel rotation which is good per the site tech. Man does it squeal worse moving the wheel backwards. The noise is coming from the side of the belt rubbing against the side of the pulley. Please give me some insite and let me know what your cure was.
Rock on!
You can try the dressing but I found that a good washing of the belt with soapy water helps mine. Make sure you do the side good not to worry about the inside hoop de dos
