Default HELP!!!wheel fitment problems

i have a question that i need help on?

i have a 98 flht and i just bought my buddys aftermarket wheels 21 front 16 rear from his 04 flht anyhow i found out the axle size was not the same so i bought a 04 swing arm

but when i went to install it on my bike my bushings was to big to fit in the swing arm

can i just use 04 bushings? is the axle in the front of the swing arm the same? the one it pivots from

also his pully is 1 1/8 wide mine is 1 1/2 i tried to put my pully on the new rim but the center hole is about 1/4 inch to small can i have that machined out to the right size?

when i bought his wheels i got his complete forks, brakes front and rear, axles, spacers, ect

as far as i know the front will all just bolt together but i wont have a speedo but thats ok

any help would be great thanks

Would it have been easier to change out the bearing in the wheel, instead of the swing arm?
