Thinking of converting my Classic for riding solo. Any problems with docking kits or antenna relocation conversions I should be aware of and what's the cost?
Any help appreciated.
Keep the shiney side up, see ya on the road. God Bless and keep you safe.
I have a detachable tour pak on my 07 RG. The only problem I have is that it rattles. For me convenience overtook “looking cool “. I keep a half helmet, leather jacket, vest and other stuff in it all the time. So it never comes off. The rattling bugs me so I'm going to fix it with a couple of chrome straps from the tour pak to the frame.

There's lots of info on here about the detachable docking installation. Just do a search.
Nice to have, if you don't use the tour-pak much. Off & on in only a few seconds, and mine fits tight and doesn't rattle at all.
If you order the detachable kit online from one of the dealers who give 20% discount, it will cost you around $270.00 or in that neighborhood
Watch ebay for the detachable kits. I got my detachable tourpak rack for $132 shipped from Sun Harley in Denver. I ordered the docking kit from Chicago HD but it was back ordered so I bought it locally and had to pay retail. I was adding a tourpak to an old evo flht so I don't have an antenna.
