If you decide you want to add the fairing guages (speedo, etc), you can get the interconnect wiring harness from Harley and everything will be plug and play.
1. Teachu2: Do you have any pics of yours or any advice. What did you do about the wiring. Did you leave your RK guage assembly intact.
2. leohd: I was going to sell the bike and and buy one but after only a high bid on my bike of $14g on ebay, I decided to go this route. The way the economy is, it is a bad time to sell high dollar toys. I aint sell my ride for 14g when I have more than double that in it.
3. gunnert: I have the inner connect wiring for the fairing. However, it dont just plug in to my existing wiring harness on the RK. Atleast I havent figured it out yet.

Sorry - guess I lost ya there. I gave the local dealer $4k and my '06 Road King with 10k on it, rode away with a brand-new '07 Road Glide. I kept the chrome I wanted off the King, and the dealer moved the garage door opener over.....
tna1000 great job so far, can't wait to see the finished project. I have been thinking of doing this myself to my Street Glide. Can you offer any help in the way of part numbers or just what parts are needed. inner and outer fairing, and the mounting brkt to the frame and the engine guard, those are he basics that I know I need. I have all the gauges. I thought I heard that there was a wire harness that adapts from an electraglide. Any nfo will be appreciated.
Once I get everything here I will be able to determine what I actually need and dont need. You conversion would probably be alot easier though since you already having a fairing bike. You already have alot of whats needed, just need the other inner/outer fairing and braket.
