Riding in the rain is not the problem... cleaning the bike after riding in the rain is the problem!!
LOL if it wasn't FOR rain, my bike wouldn't get washed....
I keep a small spray bottle filled with "car wash" blue liquid, when the rain starts , I spray it on the bike, then go riding, and let the rain wash the bike, I repeat as necessary, and when done... i find a deep puddle to ride through, as a power rinse... for extra points, I carry "soap on a rope" bike, clothes, and myself washed all at the same time....
who says men can't "multi-task"????
I had my first taste of rain 2 weeks ago. My and the wife were coming back form a 200 mile road trip and the sky began to cry, I was a bad as I thought it would be, I did have a little trouble seeing out of my sunglasses and had to slow down to 50 mph from 70!!
Sudden Summer showers are a way of life here in Florida. I use the HD packable suit, a set of boot covers from kneesliders and a Nolan 3/4 helmet with full face shield if I know the weather is going to be bad. My everyday helmet is a Scorpion EXO 100 with a retractable half shield, it's not as good in the rain as the nolan but it's better than no shield at all.
We were coming back from East coast Sturgis and it started to rain around Winchester , then it started to HALE ,well good thing I had a full helmet cause my face shield was earning its money, course when the cagers pull over maybe we should too but nah another five miles we hit 11S and we were good all the way home, great weekend!
FastHoss.......
DANG I love your sig pic there, would like to see more bigger!!
Sometimes its best to follow the crowd, instead of lead......lol
Actually that was a lucky shot....as I just pulled camera
from my pocket and shot from the hip, not wanting to be caught
aiming !!!!!!!!
