Twice now gas light has come on once 2nd crank up with 30 miles
on a full tank...goess out after about 15 miles...other time randomly came on
with about 1/2 tank....
Volt meter acting up.....at idle sometimes drops to 12 volts, give it gas
and when riding stays 14ish....doesn't always drop at idle, but more
so than not..
Dropping to 12 volts is normal while idling....and warm....mine does the same thing. I have had recent problems with the voltage meter dropping to about 11 volts. I do not have anything "extra" to pull more amps. I plan on taking the bike in on Saturday. I hope they find the problem...may be this is the reason why I am having trouble starting the bike after it is warm/hot. While riding, I am charging at 14 volts.
