I am selling my bike, don't want to... have to. What is a good asking price ? I based it off of what I paid and the use in between.
I am curious to hear what you guys say.
1997 Electaglide Standard with around 30k miles in excellent condition. Comes with an extra custom seat with red flames. Was serviced when I bought it and the guy told me the bike was in excellent shape for the year. I have only ridden it once since then.
I have to get a new battery since one of our kids unplugged the tender. grrr.

In excellent condition and only 30K I would try for 12k.
It is worth what someone is willing to pay for it and alot of older riders look
for the older "tried and true" bikes. It is a harley after all.

Dont think any of em are holding much of their value anymore. Sad to say but I would say 8 to 9k would be fairly reasonable. I think 9500 is a good place to start with some room to haggle...just my opinion.
Don't you have a friend or family member that might be able to "buy it" and baby sit it for you until you can get your feet back on the ground. Sometimes that's a good route to go rather than get bent over trying to unload it quick. You might sell it to family for 6K with the option that you can have it back for 6K anytime you want. You gotta have friends and/or family that you can really trust to pull this kind of deal off. Just a thought Bro. Hope it all works out for you.
