Definitely an H4. I was whining about the headlight on my Fatboy (sealed beam) and replaced it with a Harley H4 and cannot believe the difference! Shoulda done it years ago.

There are a lot of better H4 bulbs, Silvania Silverstar, Osram, and others. If you want a REALLY good upgrade, invest in a new reflector along with the replaceable bulb. For under $80.00 you will be amazed how much additional light can be had.

I need to do that just havn't got around to it yet waiting for sealed beam to blow. Anyway several members have done it for $20 with a JC Whitney H4 kit and said it was a direct easy swap. Here's the kit.
