I see he has retracted his un scientific test on his web site but still claims frame damage caused by the units that mount to the swing arm support bracket. His design would have been much better if his torque arm went across the width of the of the cross brace. This is my opinion as some one who has been repairing broken machinery for over 40 years.
Yeah I've seen your post and video. I'm sure that the guy's stuff works, but his attitude, bravado, innuendo, and bogus claims have turned me off. Figuring out which actually works better would be a testing and technical nightmare I'm sure, because I doubt that there is enough outward difference in them to measure. I'm not an engineer, but if one were to look at it logically, one would almost have to deduce that the one that holds the swingarm furthest from the pivot would have the highest mechanical advantage. Imagine trying to open and close a door from 1 inch in from the hinge side as opposed to opening and closing it from 5 inches in from the **** side, but lets be honest, they don't have to do much to solve the problem, just keep the swingarm from moving......it's not rocket science.

They all work fine and none of them cause any damage to anything so let's get over that issue. The amount of movement they are correcting is so minute that practically anything you would put back there would do the job. One inch here or there or whatever doesn't matter. Let's face it, if the movement was that radical to begin with you wouldn't even be able to ride the bike! You like one guy more than the other guy then buy his product instead of the other guy's.

Hey, it's a business. Guys are making a lot of money on this item. Competitors say negative things against other competitors all the time. Big deal. So what. You have a thin skin? Maybe he (Ron/BB) really believes what he says. In his view it's not 'badmouthing'. The fact that TWR has had the forum (all forums not just this one) business to himself all this time doesn't mean that someone else that has a new slant on things doesn't deserve a shot at some of that business also. Look at it this way, the competition has brought prices way down and brought more choices to the market. I notice that TWR has lowered his price in the wake of the 'new' competition. Innovation to the market in the way of new designs and lower prices to fix the same problem = good for consumers that buy this stuff.

I think Ron and Stacy of Phoenix Customs (the makers of the BB) are extremely nice people. I've spoken to both of them on several occasions. I have their product. It's very well made and his service was fantastic. AND it was by far the least expensive choice on the market. You want to make him out to be a villain to other people it's your choice but you are flat out WRONG.

That's MY opinion.

I just ordered the black Bagger Brace.

I'm getting ready to take a run up the eastern seaboard to Maryland to visit family and then go to the York open house, can't wait to see how it works out.
