Has anyone had problems with a C&C seat fitting a 08 bike. I had to return the seat due to it hitting the factory computer and they charged me 15% re stocking charge that pissed me off ? Their was a cap from the bottom of the seat to the top of the frame. I took the computer out and it fit better..... I would not buy another seat from them period fyi
I have the C&C Solo Seat on a 08 SG and it fits fine. If the seat does not fit C&C should fix the problem at there cost. Did C&C offer to remedy the problem? Take a look at these photo's.
My C&C is the best fitting seat I've ever owned on my 08. Compared to HD and Mustangs that I own...it fits up and around the console like a custom seat.
You would think they be aware of this by now! The 08's have been out for over a year. There is still now way they should have charged you a restocking fee.
Man I'm having a hard time believing that you recieved bad customer service from C&C. Did you speak to chuck personelly about this problem? Chuck and his staff at C&C, included the quility of their products in my book are second to none. I've purchased probebly close to a dozen of their seats over the years and not once have I had a problem, and I'm 100% certain that if i had Chuck would have gone out of his way to make it right. I just talked to him yesterday and ordered a seat for my '09 SG due in November. Talk to Chuck, not only will he make it right, he wants to know! Rich
C&C Seats are awesome. Chuck is totally cool and helpful if you call. Everyone tells me this seat looks awesome and a few friends are thinking of buying one. Very comfortable too. For a leather seat for $400bucks including shipping you can't get a better buy
