Soak a towel up in water and place on windshied for a few minutes. Then carefully wipe bugs off.

I just started using FW1 cleaning wax. It removes the bugs very well and shines it up as you go it also makes it easier to remove more bugs once applied.

Hot water on a towel, lay it on the ws and it softens them up. NEVER use one of those rubber squegie( probably not spelled right) things from a gas station, it will scratch ur windshield. Learned this lesson many years ago.

Ditto on the wet towel. But, you'll be tempted to wipe of the bugs with the towel. That can scratch. I follow up with micro-fiber and ammonia based windex.

My windshield is already scratched so a warm, wet towel does the trick without much wait time. I used to think I needed fancy plexiglass spray cleaner but a few nights in hotels touring the Southwest taught me a lesson, although the maid might not like it too much.

50/50 water peroxide spray, let soak a few minutes then follow with a warm wet towel, the guts will dissolve and wipe right off.
