Watch carefully and ride between the bugs. It makes things a bit erratic, but it beats cleaning.

Wet towel, soak bugs, wipe off with wet soft sponge, and dry with microfiber towel. Wax with Harley Glaze after 3 or 4 cleanings.

I use a wet rag w/ liberal amount of ivory liquid soap. rub on, let sit for about 5-10 minutes and wash off. SIMPLE

Peroxide won't strip the wax or hurt the finish?

Prevention is the best method. Use "Rejex" per the manufacturers directions. The bugs won't be able to stick to your windshield. After you fall in love with the stuff, use it on the rest of your bike.
