I'm up for adoption........
I can ride your bike to the camping location, and once
you get camp set up I'll swap your bike for your truck !!!!!
Then when you are ready to pull up stakes and move on,
we will swap bike for truck and hit the open road.
If you don't need the truck bed space, then the bed is a good option. I towed a SeaDoo behind my 30' camper for many years with no problems. It is illegal in many states, including the two I towed in the most, Florida and Georgia, but you see it all the time down here.
A good set of 10' ramps and a condor wheel chock will take care of your loading issues.
A special license is not required to tow tandom...but...it is not legal in several states. You'd have to check with the state you are going to be traveling through.
I went the route of a toy hauler, Alfa Toyhouse. It works GREAT! Only problem I don't have time anymore and so we're going to sell the hauler.
Thanks for the help. We have seriously thought about a trailer for the bike. Currently we have settled on loading it into the bed of the truck, seems safer! Thanks again!!
