I have an 06 Eglide standard that I want to change the exhaust on. I really like the look of the straight pipe fishtails, and I also like that you can pick them up cheap. That being said, I dont want to lose the torque in the bottom end, and I dont want to **** off all the neighbors when I roll in at 0100. Will these work for me if I wrap baffles with fiberglass or steel wool or will they still be too loud. Anybody done this?
They will be quite a bit louder than stock. Wrapping a baffle with fiberglass will cut the noise somewhat. Use fiberglass not steel wool as it lasts longer. Hope this helps.
