Go with the HD units, I had a set of the Freedom wings and they fell off the first half hour of the ride.

The adjustable wings allow you to direct the air to your lower body and moves the engine heat away from you. You can also direct the airflow around the fairing so that it hits your chest and on hot days it does make a difference. Completely adjustable, I like them but everyone has a preference that makes riding more confortable to them.

I have Freedom Wings and they work great. There has been an update to the mounting kit as the first ones sometimes broke right at the fairing. The company replaced my mounting kit for free when one broke.

The plastic that they are made from is very susceptible to bug etching, however.

Had the Freedom Wings and liked them, even though the first set broke and had to be replaced. Truth is however they don't compare to the new HD adjustable wings for fit, finish and overall functionality. No comparison.
