Try this webcam. It's at the Exxon station in Cooke City. Looked clear and dry to me awhile ago

I live in Montana, and the weather has been great. Forecast looks good till Saturday, with a few showers possible. But Beartooth is far enough from me (east of me) that I think you're really safe, and it should be great. I rode it this year of course, and it was great. It'll get cold, so be prepared. Morning temps now on good days are in the high 30's, low 40's. It warms up quick, but can be brisk till noon or so. And on top of Bear tooth, it's always cool, even in the middle of summer. So bring some warm gear, and enjoy it. Post some pix upon return. Good Luck, CCRyder

Watched the weather last night for ya, and I think you're going to be fine. Like I said before though, bring some snuggy warm gear. It can get a little nippy. Take some pix.

Um, I got snowed on up there over the JULY 4th weekend, 2 years ago. It was 95 degrees at Old faithfull, and 2 hours later, we were freezing in the SNOW. (upper loop) Not enough snow to stay on the roads, but it was cold, wet, and lousy.

Its VERY un-predictable up there, and it can change dramatically within a few hours. I personally would not go on a bike this late in the year. If you do, just make sure you take proper gear (I foolishly did not) and have good tires. Do NOT make the assumption that you can just pull off and find shelter if it gets bad, there very little, and very far apart.

Of course, now that I've posted the gloom and doom version, it will most likely be beautiful and pleasant. Just be prepared in case it suddenly changes on you.

I got snowed on on the way home on Labor day in Island park. Bear tooth and the Chief Joseph scenic highway were my favorites. The scenery in the park is awesome but I'm not real fond of most crowds(like in the park).
