Quick release luggage rack
I am going to Panama city beach and needed to pack for a week. I don't like the luggage rack on top of tour pack so I now have a quick detach rack. Now I can pack for 2 with all the gear for our 2200 and some mile trip.

Yeh, you really do have to watch the weight on the back. I put too much in the tour pack and on the rack. The low speed (parking lot) handling was actually scary. The front end actually wobbled with the pulse of the motor, and this was riding solo.
Had to rearange load and add some more air to shocks.

...safe to say no matter how many lbs ur gonna carry back there, it's NOT gonna be as stable as it would up top.
If I was a bettin man I'd say after this trip.....u will like havin a luggage rack on top.

WTF your not going for a month! I don't use the tour pack, just a detachable rack and then use a roller duffle bag and small bag on top. I can be in the room with just unhooking 4 bungee's.
