Amen to everything y'all have said.

Why ride? Because there's no greater feeling of freedom, than a throttle in your right hand.

Why ride a Harley? Because when you twist that throttle it sounds and feels right!

If you have to ask, you won't understand.

I have a picture of my Dad on an Indian and wearing one of those motorcycle cop hats. In my youth I had Jap bikes and a Ducati. He'd just shake his head. I know now what he was thinking.

1) Been riding Harleys only for 37 years ..

2) I was riding when it wasnt cool to be on a Harley , and you got hassled .. But back then if it was a Harley or anything else you were looked down on ..

3) Pearl Harbor

4) It dont have to be the fastest or most technologically adavnced to be the best .. As a matter of fact that is probably why they are the best ..

5) Those look alikes are just that look alikes , when someone sees one they have to ask what it is , when they see a Harley they KNOW what it is .. Imitation is the greatest form of flattery ..

6) I can still get parts for my 56 year old FLH

7) I can still get parts for my 37 year old Harley

8) I cans till get parts for my 31 year old Harley

9) I can still get parts for my two month old Harley , but I dont know if I would know what to do with them

10) When your rice burner changes models , try finding parts in 20 years ..

11) It's a Harley , and it's American made , and it's the best

12) Since you had to ask , you dont understand , but one day maybe you will ..

I was always hesitant about buying a Harley until a few years ago. I had owned motorcycles for 42 years, but after buying my first Harley I realized that it it becomes a personal thing. To me the Harley is a work of art. Hardly any two on the road look the same. Try looking at several Goldwings or any other brand and see if they don't all look pretty much alike. Go to any Harley gathering and try to find 2 that look alike. Owning a Harley is like owning a canvas and being able to paint the picture the way that you want.
