I wanted a touring bike that wasn't all plastic and sounding like a sewing machine. I like the cruiser look but wanted the comfort of a fairing and a radio/cd player. Add ABS to the '08 model and I was all over it like a big dog. This is by far the coolest bike I have ever owned.

Because one day when I was about 6 or 7 I heard a rumbling sound coming down the road. I ran to the intersection and saw about a mile of Harleys going by I can remember thinking how cool it looked and sounded. I just stood there with a look of Awe.

When I had the Sporty I had a friend who rides a metric bike trying to convince me to trade it and get one because "you get so much more for your money". I told him it's either a Harley or it looks like one, that's the last time he brought it up. I traded the Sporty for a Road King; one of my better decisions.
