I just put a pair of the HD billet latches on and have mixed feelings about how I like em'. Thought I'd ask the gang to weigh in.

IMO, I think it really compliments your bike. They are keepers.

If the stock ones didnt have that reflector on them, I would say keep them, and spend the money someplace else. I still dont know though....there is just something about the billet latches that turns me off.

Honestly, I think PTM stock ones look best (minus the reflector which can be painted over). That being said, I dont care for those at all...they dont flow with the lines of the bike/saddlebags.

To each his own though. I'm sure there's ALOT about my scoot people can't stand.

My opinion is; I don't like them at all....brypink has it, they don't flow with the lines of the bags, I personally like the color matched ones, then they just kinda blend in...

I like the color matched ones myself. Never been a fan of the shiny latches.

Billet has become a 'theme'... and I don't see any other billet items on your bike... so it kinda sticks out like a third thumb. But you've got the billet bug now, get busy and finish the job.
Hogdoctor (who likes billet as long as it's powdercoated black and not chrome)
