If I was driving or riding and just got a quick look at the bike I would mistake for a Harley. Just like allot cars they all look very similiar.
Everyone here knows what a Harley looks like but if most people were told it was a Harley after being debadge would be "okay that's a nice Harley".
Everyone still goes "ooh you have a Harely" but can't pick one out of a crowd (anymore).
Besides the chrome being very soft on the Harley brand - quality still seems to be better then Jap bikes. Now I am not saying the engineering is at the same level.
Take real good look at content boys, your "American" bike has just as much, and depending on the year and model, even MORE Jap parts than some of these other brands.

Dare I say Chinese bike. A lot of Harley parts are now coming from China too.
I had a 2000 Indian Chief.
It was VERY dependable, No issues at all. Ran like a raped ape. Looked great.
But it wasnt a Harley.
And the bottom line is, Everyone who doesnt own a Harley does in deed want one.
Oh they'll deny it.
Like the Trolls that are posting here.
In fact thats why their posting here.

I Love my Harley but if I could afford two bikes, I'd LOVE to have one just...like...that....Indian. Same color, same everything. If nothing else, just to park and look at it. Given their reputation, that might be best but Beauty will forgive a lot.
Oh and another thing. Why did they make it look so much like a Harley?
So people who cant have will have something to "settle with".
Listen, "can't have" has alot to do with whats in your head. Believe me, I was there.
