You should be ashamed of yourself! I sure hope you didnt create any little ones with her that you are also leaving behind. There will probably always be one younger with bigger jugs and a firmer body.
You'll get over it quicker than she will, especially when you have that new one between your legs. When the day comes just walk away and don't look back cuz if you do she'll think theres still a chance.
I was evil. I rode my Ultra to Daytona and left her there when I rode the new SG home. I can still hear her crying as I transferred stuff from her to the new bike in the parking lot. I got over it, though.
Well if you are like me you never forget your "first" Even after I traded her (03 FXST) in on a new 07 SG I could not get her out of my mind. Even though you may love the newest you will always miss your previous.
After 2 years of missing my first I had to go and buy her back. Well not actually the same bike but the exact same model. I plan on keeping her. I don't ride her much but at least that empty feeling is gone. Well worth the cost.
On a serious note I traded mine in for close to $12K and ended up buying her replacement with less miles for $8800. So I ended up saving money on the deal too. Good luck.
I couldn't part with mine, after awhile they become part of the family and your kids start laying claim to them for when you are gone. It would just be wrong to sell it at that point. Good luck with the new one.
