1/2 helmets suck on a street glide. The buffering can really be felt when it catches the rim of your bucket... IMHO Get you bucket painted something cool and call it a day...
Cured by 6.5 inch windshield and helmet from carbonfiberhelmets.com. Their helmets are dot approved but have low profile on leading edge so nowhere for wind to get up into.

Try a HJC 3XL half helmet. I won't swear to it, but it might be a CL-12. The helmet is comfortable, and DOT approved.

As far as pulling out padding bryan, why bother wearing one then? Is Texas a "must wear" state?

Just buy anothe Arai Solid color. Why worry about what others say..it's your head not theirs.

Harley also makes a full face with flames (actually made by KBC).

Yikes 3XL? He is a Melonhead! j/k

Wouldn't hurt to call though. Since they make them to order maybe they could whip something up for him. Who knows?

P.S. Actually it's 6 inch shield not 6.5. Can I get back in the club now...huh...can I?
